Students and enthusiasts of Karate have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Sensei Swick, Shihan Perry & Sensei Perry
Adult's Karate
ages 13 and up For adults, martial arts classes provide a fun and challenging exercise routine and offer a great alternative to traditional gym workouts. Our classes build strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination, and foster an overall sense of well-being.

Regardless of whether you want to become a competitive athlete, learn self-defense techniques or simply become more physically fit, this program will help you achieve your goal. You develop increased endurance and muscle tone, improve balance, quicker reflexes, and most importantly, a greater sense of well-being. Keep in mind that no previous experience is required. And if you do have some experience in martial arts, this program is a great place to rediscover the many benefits of martial arts training.


Jr Dragon's Karate
ages 8-12 years old There is overwhelming evidence that the higher the level of self-esteem, the more likely one will be to treat others with respect, kindness, generosity, and try harder at everything! Tuesday night all rank. Thursday night advances only purple to black, and Fridays are White through Blue. students can come all 3 day's of training if he/she are in the black belt club.

Lil' Dragon's
ages 4-7 years old. The martial arts combat childhood obesity with the, “Lil’ Dragon” program teaches kids how to respect their bodies, as well as their parents and teachers. Want your child to learn self control, respect, manners or confidence? Or how about learn what to do in an emergency, how to introduce themself or how to deal with strangers?

With a new theme every week your child will learn valuable life skills as well as have fun, keep active and develop basic motion skills and hand-eye coordination.

This program has been created specifically for 4 to 6 year olds and focuses on Life Skills, Safety Skills and Basic Martial Arts Skills. This program teaches children to control their body, focus their mind and how to have fun safely!


Competition Team Membership
4 days of training focusing on weapons, kata, Kumite (sparring), and Tournament preparation. All entry fee's to the Warriors United karate tournament circuit is include with Team Membership. Only serous Karateka's (student of karate) should apply. See Sensei Swick about joining our WV top karate Team.

Scholarship Program
Dragon's Den Mixed Martial Arts scholarship program

We have established a scholarship program to help new families or existing families in need to be able to afford the monthly fees at Dragon's Den Karate. Sometimes life leads you down a difficult path. Sometimes life is very good to you. It can change in a heartbeat. We are a family and as such, we help each other.

If you feel moved to contribute to our scholarship fund on a monthly basis or as a one-time gift, Dragon's Den Karate will put you name and Photo on our Top Dragon's Wall of Fame .

Please understand that this is not tax deductible, you are simply doing it because you can and you believe in what we do.

Consider the following. ?$12.50 per month for a year supports one child for three months of training ?$25.00 per month for a year supports one child for six months of training ?$50 per month for a year supports one child for twelve months of training

"Home School Karate"
Our Home School Karate program for kids and teens is just like our Kids Karate program but scheduled during the day. This provides a solid alternative for P.E. class for home schoolers. They will they get a good physical workout and have fun doing it!

We also provide a strong emphasis on character development. By teaching empathy and respect for all people, kids learn much more than just punching and kicking. Humility, respect and integrity are key ingredients to building positive life-long relationships with others as they grow and mature into adults.


Jiu-Jitsu
RJJ (Renzoku Jiu-Jitsu) promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique, taking the fight to the ground – most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person.

"Jiu-jitsu" is an older romanization that was the original spelling of the art in the West, and it is still in common use, whereas the modern Hepburn romanization is "jujutsu."


KickBoxing
Break away from the boring pushups and sit-ups and burn calories with martial arts inspired movements and exercises. By utilizing a combination of Western Boxing, karate and Muay Thai Kickboxing, you will be able to burn belly fat, strengthen muscle and joint function and increase athletic ability one punch and kick at a time.
